Jerusalem, June 13 (Associated Press) Israel today began administering the territory it conquered west of the River Jordan as virtually a separate entity with its own currency and local government. A tight military cordon cuts off the Old City, and the west bank of the Jordan from Israel. Reliable sources said eventually a network of customs and frontier posts will cut off the Arabs in the conquered area of Jordan until a final settlement is made.
