At its last meeting on March 19th, the North Nottingham C.L.P. passed a resolution unanimously to the effect that it pledged support to the Nottingham City Labour Party and the majority of those councillors in the Labour Party City Group in their opposition to the proposed civic reception for the South ifrican bowls team. Copies of the resolution were sent to the City Paty and to the Labour Group.
