The Conservative candidate for Kemptown, Mr. Andiew Bowden, delivered a letter to No 10 Downing Street over the speech and there were calls locally for the Labour Party to disassociate itself from Mr. Hobden's views, The nationel exccutive has now decided that he should te cuestioned about the speech. Mr. Hobden held his seat with a majority of £31 over Mr. Bowden at the last election. Mr, Hobden left the Labour Party over German rearmament and joined the Cemmunist Party in 1950. After a year he left to return to the Labour Party, It is to be hoped that all Labour Party supporters will oppese this latest piece of witch-hunting.
