Four of Hampstead's seven Labour ward parties have called for an aggregate meeting of members to discuss 'the party's future relations with the national organisation.' The meeting is to he held on February 13, this was decided by the General Management Conrittee of the party on Friday, January 26th, The decision has its origin in a decision ty the party more than a year ago to disaffiliate should the Government support the Americans in Vietnam hy sending troops, etc. In an exchange of letters between Hampstead's MP, Ben Whitaker, and Denis Healey it emerged that the Government was quite open about US and South Vietnamese troops being trained in Malaya by British forces.
