from Tom Nicholls Bristol West C.L.P. have written to the Iabour Party N.E.C. taking up the case of John Palmer's candidature. Referring to the recent letter from the officers of North West Croydon C.L.P. in Tribune, their letter to the N.E.C. states: "We feel some concern about this because it suggests that relations between the N.E.C. and Constituency Parties are not as close as they should be if the solidarity which will be so badly needed at the next election is to be maintained." It goes on to ask the N.E.C. to revise its decision not to see the officers of the North West Croydon Party, A number of wards aré also understood to have raised the case. John Palmer is one of a mumber of Parliamentary candidates the N.E.C. have refused to endorse. The original letter from North West Croydon C.L.P,. was published in Tribune of 21.1.66. and in The Week at about the same time,
