from a Yorks, reader On Sunday 30th of January demonstrators burned an effigy of President Johnson outside the American arny station at Menwith, near Harrogate. A letter handed to the station commander protested at the bombing of Vietnam with napalm and other terror weaponse The demonstration was organised by the Harrogate committee against the war in Vietnan.
