the World Bank has notified Thailand authorities to send delegates to New York to negotiate on a 36 million U.S. dollar loan to build four strategic roads in Thailand, This followed Thailand's decision to send naval and air aid to South Vietnam. Totalling 768 kilometres, the four roads will be completawithin two to three years. The Nakorn Sawan to Chiang Rai road will be 420 kilometres long and when completed will link Central Thailand with its liorthern border.
