The South Vietnam Teachers! Association in a statement dated March 15th strongly objected to the U.S. demand for aad blood donations from pupils in Saigon, From March 21-23rd, U.S. troops and Saigon police compelled pupils in their schools to give blood transfus -ions for wounded U.S. troops from the South Vietnam battlefields, 26 pupils were affected from losing too much blood. Parents and teachers were very indignant at this action.
