The follow/€s the text of an emergency resolution that the Executive Committee of South Gloucestershire C.L.P, are submitting to the Labour Party Annual Conference, subject to the approval of the G.M.C.:

"This Conference believes that an active and well-informed Young Socialist movement could play a vital role in the Labour Party. To this end the Annual Conference of the Young Socialists should be organised on democratic lines and should be allowed to discuss all matters concerning socialists, The Young Socialists should be guaranteed the right to elect its own offic~ ials and should be given control of its own jo "
