Britsol Trades Council agreed, at its June meeting, to support the mass lobby of Parliament on Vietnam, on ‘iednesday 30th June and to send two official delegates. In addition, all affiliated branches are to be circulated asking them to support the lobby and the petition to Parliament.
A local committee of the Council for Peace in Vietnam has been formed. A meeting has been organised at the Museum Lecture Theatre on June 22nd and an opep-air meeting on the Centre at 7.30 p.m. on 30th June to coincide with lobby. One coach has already been booked for the lobby and seats are still available.
