well Geismar, Horace Kallen, John O. Killons, Slater King and Staughton d have invited other prominent people of various political beliefs to join them as sponsors of the United States Alexander Defense ‘Committee in aiding the Defence of Dr. Neville Alexander and other political prisoners in South Africa. Officers of the committee include well-known leaders of the Freedom Now struggle in the United States. In additional to raising money the committee will conduct intensive educational activity and will organise demonstrations to protest against the increasingly repressive South African regime.
