At a conference in mid-December, the Right-wing of the Belgian Socialist Party, harassed by the crisis of conscience provoked in tts ranks by the disgraceful intervention in the Congo, passed a series of witch-hunting resolutions against supporters of the Walloon separatist movement and La Gauche, the Belgian equivalent of Tribune. Against these attacks the left stood firm, and the following is a translation of the editorial which appeared in La Gauche immediately after they were made.
