A 22-year-old Praja Socialist Party member burned himself to death in Fatehgarth, in mid-—Fsbruary, in protest against the Govern ment!s inability to check rising prices. Neighbours broke their way into his room only to find the man, Vishvambhar Singh, lying charred in a cot with a tin of potrol nearby. He left a note explaining his reasons for burning himself to death.
