Normally the handling of strike news is the least thing ono can criticise in tho Daily Worker, It is therefore surprising to read in that paper in its March 9th issue a letter from H.C. Silk, on bohalf of the Marriott Strike Committee, criticising the Daily Worker's report of the conclusion of the strike. Tho report claimed that a victory had boen won, Mr. Silk points out that the strike actually suffered a defeat, whilst thanking the Daily Worker for the support it gave the strike whilst in progress, (see page two).
