A statement from T,U.C. headquarters, issued shortly after news of the latest batch of arrests in Aden came through, said that news of these arrests had been heard with concern by the T.U.C. General Council. The statement addeds "The General Council do not condone violence and they express their sympathy with the victims of the explosion at Aden Airport on December 10, They earnestly hope the Government of the Federation of South Arabia will expedite both their inquiries and the formulation of any ‘substantial criminal charges so that innocent men may be released. ,
