They want information on wmen in textiles. sheffield, whose eroups is & mixture of working, unemployed and students has been doing research into. working conditions in the area, and’ have mede contact with university cheaners, <A further meeting with May Hobbs in conjunction with the Trades Council. is. planned. Birmingham wants to do a survey and: would like to hear how’other groups to theirs. (perhaps. we ican publish sample questionaires and other aids to surveys _in future bulletins). They will be having a joint Soc. foc meeting in January.
