",eeesiftor the Congress, swollen with arrogance, the imperialists and reactionaries everywhere stirred up a world-wide tidal wave against the Sovict Union, against Communism and against the people, The U.S, imperialists sew the all-out attack on Stalin by the leadership of the C,P.5.U. as cia SISA Aaes that was "never so suited to our PUTPOSOS"§ saves
"The Titoites became most aseressive, Flaunting their reactionary slogan of "anti-Stalinism", they wildly attacked the didétateorship of the proletarint and the docislist system. They dd¢dlsred that the 20th Congress of the C.P.5.U. "created sufficient elements" for the "new course" which Yugoslavia had started and that "the question now is whéther this course will win or the —. course of Stalinism will win again.”
"The Trotskyites, enemies of Commimian, who had bsen in desporate straits, feverishly rosuméed ‘activity. In ite ™lanifesto “to the Yorkers and Peoples of the Entire “orld', the so-called Fourth International said, "Today, when Kromlin leaders are themselves admitting the crimes of Stalin, they implicitly recognise that the indéfatigable struggle carried OM.e++eby tho ' world Trotskyist movement against the Weseierceson ef the workers! ‘state, was fully justified,"
The errors of the 20th Congross brousht about great ideolosical confusion in the intornational Comminist movement and caused it to be deluged with revisionist ideas, slong with the imperielists, the-reactionaries and tho Tito clique, renegades from Comminism in’ many countries attacked Marxisn- Leninism and the international Communist movotient. . rm lost striking anong the events which took place during this period wore. ‘the incidents in Seviet—Polish relstions and the counter—revolutionary rebellion in Tungary. The two events were difforent in charscter, mt the leadership of the C.P.3.U,.made grave errors in both, By moving up troops in an attempt to subdue the Polish comrades by armed. force it committed the error of gréat—power chauvinism, and at the critical noment when the Hungarian ~ gounter—revolutionarios had occupied Ridapest, for a time’ it intended to adopt a policy of capitulnztion and abandon socialist Hungary to counter—revolition.
These erram of the le.dership of the C.P.5.U. inflated the arrogsnce of all the enemics of Comminisn, Created serious difficulties for nany fraternal parties and caused the international Communist movement great damage,
In face of this situstion, the Chinese Communist Party and other fratornal parties porsevering in Marxism—Loninian firmly demanded repulsing the assaults of the imperialists end reaction and safeguarding the socialist camp and the international Communist movement, We insisted on the taking of all necessary measures to smash the counter—revolutionary rebellion in Hungary and firmly opposéd the abandonment of sccialist Hungary. We insisted that in the handling of probloms between fraternal parties and countries correct principles should be followed so as to strengthen the unity of the socialist camp, and we firmly opposed the orronsous methods of groat—-power chauvinim. At the same time, we made very great efforts to safeguard the preskign of the C.F.5. Wetesss oa
