A London correspondent has drawn our attention to the following report which appeared in the organ of the London Municipal Society (read London Tory Party) - The Londoner - under the heading of “Greek Visit Widens Labour Split";

"The already serious split betwoen right and left in the Labour Party on the L.C,.C, has widened alarmingly. The fact that such a rift has existed for a long time is well known but that it should manifest itself in the form of an open revolt came as a surprise to even the most acute student of London politics,....Dr. Harry Rezler, Dr. David Kerr, Mr Barry Payton and Miss Joan Lestor strongly supported by Mr, Hugh Jenkins" led the campaign... — eee
