ir. David Tribe, President of the National Secular Society, was continually interrupted by the R.C. priest during his oxposition of the naterialist view of "purgatory" and "life after death", and eventually Darry Westwood, the chairman, mildly intervened. é

The clash between Tribe and the R.C. prisst and the searching quest= ions from the youngsters on the programme effectively cut down the nonsonse about teenagers, who aro increasingly finding that religrn and the churches are completely irrelevant toth to their problems and the fundamental quest= ions about life, man and the universe,
