@ Indonesian Communist Party .idit has said that Indonesia should take the revolutionary road in the strugglo against Malaysia, seellG, waa speaking at a rally of about 7,000 people in Bandung, Oct. 14th, Aidit said: there are probably 3 roads re the struggle, The first is that of opportunism, a road of wavering and compromises and Maphilindo (a federation of Malysia, Philippines and Indonesia: Id. Note) A federation of Maphilindo has no foundation because the internal and oxternal policies of Indonesia not only differ but are also contradictory to those of Malaysia and the Philippi- NOSeeeeThs second is the adventurist road..The followers of this road while pretonding to opposes Malaysia and Pritain carry out in fact provocations, thus giving Eritain an opportunity to make disturbaneses on Indenesicn soil, The adventuricts want to make use of this to soize state power and then to work hand in glove with Britain and Tunku Raohman.....«

The third road is the rovolutionary road, a road of all-out confrontation,...Folitically, we should constantly expose Malaysian as a neo= colonialist conception and officially recognise the Borth Kalimantan state governnent....uconomically, we should continue to break off all relations with Singapore and Malayan federntion and take over am nationnalise the enter— prises of Eritain,s...We should give material assistance to the North Kalimnan— tan people.......efarring to tha question whether a war would treak out if Indonesia takes the revolutionary road, he declared “Iritain is unwilling to lose its position in South-East Asias if it resorts to war, it would completely lose its position in this aréa in a short periods", ..<*
