Tssuss A DENIAL

The Economic League, that body which is financed by big tusiness to carry-out propaganda against strikes, 'reds', nationalisation, shop stowards, otc., is upset - the story has got arcund that they support the Tory party. On October 4th, they issued a statement which snmid:

"This allegation is completely without foundation, On no occasion during the 44 years of its existonce has the Zconomic Loague contributed a single penny to the funds of the Conservative Party, or acted in any way as a channel for the conveyance of funds, Nor has tha Hconomic Leasuo over received any contrittion, direct or indirect, from the Conservative Party."
