The Spring 1963 list of hooks being published by George Allen and Unwin includes an B/6 paperback entitled the "Essential Trotsky". This follows their previous publication of the "Sssential Lefts". The advance blurb reads : "In this volume are reprinted three of Trotary's best kmnowm historical pamphlets, 'The Russian Revolution to Hrest-Litovsk', almost a straightforward narrative; 'The Lessons of October' in which he analysed the condict of the revolution and criticised colleagues who failed to read the lessons aright; and 'Stalin's falsifications of History' in which he is againconcerned with the events of the revolution up to Lenin's death."

Another book of some interest to ba published this spring by the same publishers is Raphael RB, Abramovitch's "The Soviet Revolution 1917 - 1939", Tho blurb says: "This history by the lone romaining figure in the leadership of the Russian Social Democratic Party is an important contrimt-— ion in understanding the Soviet October Revolution of 1917.
