A.M. Agehari, chairman of the Bruni People's Party (Partai Raayet) said at a press conference on Jamary 18th, that "No amount of force could suppress the revolution in Northern Borneo, This liberation movement of a long oppressad people will go on until victory becomes ours "™ The The Manila Chronicle reported that Azahari showed confidence in the “inevitable success of the Brunei Uprising.
