Two thousand Mexican petroleum workers marked the 25th anniv ersary of Mexico's nationalisation of its oil inductry at a meeting in Mexico on March 23rd, The workers also gavo a bancuet in honour of Moryico's former President, General Lazaro Cardenas, who decregd the nationaliss‘iom measure some 25 years ago. Cardenas, speaking at the banquet, denounssd Imperialism for continuing to plunder Mexico's under—ground resources and intervening in its internel affairs by sconomic and diplomatic pressure or the threat of force.
