The central committees of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan in Soviet Central Asia at a recent meeting relieved Dinmihamed Kunayev of his duties as first secretary of the Kazakh Communist Party's Central Committee, in viow of his appointment as Chairman of the Counoil of Minkaters cf Kazakhatan,. Nikolai _Rodionov wos also relieved of his duties as second secretary of the central cttee - jecause of transfer to another post, The central committee ins secret (sic!) ballot, then voted unanimously for expulsion of the former chairman of the Kazakh Council of Ministers, Salken Daulonov, from the central committee for “unworthy conduct".
