4 strike of 800 dockers took place January 22nd and brought the port of liiddlesborough to a complote standstill, It is a two-day token strike in protest the suspension of 44 men who refused to work at llartlepools one day last month under a compulsory labour transfer scheme. A conflict is brewing in the Glasgow docks over the question of ‘dirty money' to be paid for unloading m@Y%ganese ore. Already thore has been ong strike on January 10th and although the men went back to work in the event of an unsatisfactory offer being made feeling is that another strike will take place,
