The Italian Communist Party papor Unita reported on December 9th that the Chinese fraternal delegatos to the Czechoslovak Communist Party Congress had presented a letter calling for "an internationalconsultation of all Communist Parties" to discuss disagreonents between them. The letter, which was addressed to the foreign delegations present, said that the attacks upon the Albanian leaders wero disrupting the unity of the workers! movoment and that this could have "grave consequenceseceeewhich can become even graver." This would appear to be a last attompt by the Chinese to prevent a completely open and irrevocable split between themselves and the Russian Communist Party.
