" The Kenya Federation of Iabour's Oouncil has called for the nationalisation of the colony's tea coffee and sugar plantations and banking and insurance, it was announced there on Dec. 35rd. A council meeting at the weekend passed resolutions to this effect, according to a Press release today signed by Mr. Feter khibisu, Gen. Sec. of the Federation. Commenting on the proposals, Mr.aonald J. Hillard, chairman of the Nairobi Chamber of Commerce, told a reporters I can see no quicker way than this to commit economic suicide".
