On Saturday 24th, February, about 50 people, mainly young Socialists started out on an anti colour bar Bill demonstration in Glasyow through the City Centre. By the time it had roachod its destination the march had swelled to soi 200, again mostly Young Socialists. The Trades Council supjorted by sending several speakers to the meeting which followod the marche The Labour Party was represented by John Rankin 11.P,. Gus hiacDonald spoke for tho Young Socialists. Tho Young Socialists wore also conspicuous bocauso of theo many bannors they carried - both large and small, this togother with the two loudspeakers vans gavo tho march colour and force. To give the dononstration plony of publicity Young Socialists wont out putting up bills snd posters, soveral wore caught by the police and had their names taken, two of whom subsequently have been approached to appear in courte.
