At the March mesting of the Manvers ward Labour Party a discussion tock place on the growth of left wing ideas in the labour movement and, in particular, on nuclear disarmament. Arising from thoso discussions it was decided to ask the Constituency Party to invite a speaker from the C.N.D. to opon a discussione

Owing to tho interest shown and the value gained from the discussion it was decided to ask the ward secretary to draw up a programme of socialist education. The problem of colonialism, and thu difficulties confronting coloured immigrants figured largely too and it was decided to invite the secretary of the Afro-Asian West Indian Union to speak at oa ward mecting on the subject.
