The following is the text of a resolution passed at a recent meeting a of the Ceylon Socialists Students Associations

"This meeting of tho Ceylon Socialist Students Association attended by the members of Young Socialist branchs, Labour Parties, and colonial movements in the West Indies, Nigoria, South Africa, India, Mozambique as well as Ceylons

"unthusiastically wolcomos the Cuban revolution and greets the Cuban working people in their struggle to build a free, independent and socialist Cuba, and to defend it against United States aggression.

"le pledge out support to and solidarity with the Cuban people, not only for what thoy aro achieving in their own country, but also for the example they are setting as a spearhead of progress and strug le against imperialism in the whole of Latin America,

“Ye are sure that, inspired by the Cuban struggle, the masses of Latin America who have been exploited for so long by their own ruling class, by U.5. imperialism and British imperialism too, will make great strides in the building of a united anti-imporialist front.

We condemn uttorly all attompts by U.S, imperialism aided am abetted by remnants of the Cuban bourgeosie, to intervone in Cuba, and denounce such attempts as a direct threat to world peaco, and the success of own anti-imperialist struggles.

"Je assure the Cuban poople that their efforts aro being followed with keen interest and admiration in Africa, isia, hore in Britain and everywhere that working psople are fighting for a better life.

"Those present at this meeting —- members of the British LaboUr movemont and representatives of various anti~coloni?1 movements throughout the world, wish to assure the London represent *tive of the Cuban people that we will do everything in our power to help in arousing widespread support in defence of the Cuban revolution, both amongst British people and among the many colonial people studying in Britain.

"We would therefore welcome practical proposals in this respect which we pledge ourselves to put before our various organisations and publicise as widely as possible."
